Chemical Peels

The aim is to improve the appearance of the skin – for example, by reducing age spots and evening out skin tone.

About Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a skin treatment that uses a solution to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, revealing a fresher, smoother layer underneath. It helps improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, acne scars, and uneven pigmentation. How it Works

Our customers are encouraged to avoid sun exposure, exfoliants, and retinoids for at least a week before the treatment.

We will perform a skin assessment, cleanse the skin, and ensure no open wounds or active infections are present.

The chemical peel solution is evenly applied to the skin using a brush, cotton pad, or gauze. The peel is left on for a specific duration, depending on the peel type and skin sensitivity.

The patient may feel a tingling, burning, or warm sensation during the treatment. The skin may turn red or white (frosting), indicating the peel is working. the following days.

The skin may peel, flake, or scab within a few days post-treatment.
It is crucial to avoid sun exposure, use gentle skincare products, and apply sunscreen for proper healing and optimal results. New, healthier skin cells replace the old ones, resulting in a rejuvenated appearance.

Quick answers to questions you may have

A chemical peel gently exfoliates the top layers of your skin to reveal a smoother, more radiant complexion. It can improve skin texture, tone, and address concerns like fine lines, acne scars, and sun damage.

Most people experience a mild tingling or burning sensation during the treatment, but it’s generally tolerable. We take measures to ensure your comfort and offer options for numbing if needed.

Recovery time varies depending on the depth of the peel. Light peels usually require minimal downtime, while deeper peels may involve some peeling and redness for a few days.

The best way to determine if a chemical peel is suitable for you is to schedule a consultation with our skincare experts. We’ll assess your skin, discuss your goals, and recommend the most appropriate treatment option.

The number of sessions depends on the skin condition and desired results. Typically, a series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart provides optimal improvement.

It’s best to avoid makeup for at least 24 to 48 hours post-treatment to allow the skin to heal. After the initial recovery, use gentle, non-comedogenic products.

Chemical peels are suitable for most skin types, especially those with acne, pigmentation, fine lines, or dull complexion. However, individuals with active skin infections, eczema, or severe sensitivity should consult before proceeding.

Before the treatment, avoid sun exposure, retinoids, and exfoliants for at least a week. After the peel, avoid sun exposure, strenuous exercise, and harsh skincare products. Use sunscreen and a gentle moisturizer for optimal healing.

Results can last several months depending on the type of peel and your skincare routine. Regular maintenance peels and proper sun protection help prolong the effects.
